On Wednesday, I went in to shower and came out to find Marcie vomiting blood and passing bright red blood!! I called my vet who was out for the day and the office sent me to the emergency clinic in Tampa, 40 minutes from my home. When I got there she was already showing signs of shock even though she hadn't passed any more blood. It had only been a total of an hour and a half!! She is 4 pounds.
She has hemorrhagic pancreatitis. She ended up staying in the hospital for two days with IVs and medications. The vet told me she could have died if I had waited until the next day to have her checked!! Scary!!!
I got to take her home last evening. She is doing very well....Thank Goodness!!

I am so glad that Marcie is doing well. I know how very scary this can be. I had this same thing happen to my Allie last year at about this same time.
