I've always hesitated on posting this but my girlfriend just did this with her 3 Shepherds and it worked for her.

I have done this several times with my many dogs throughout the years and it works for me, its just another suggestion for switchers...

When I plan to switch I put my pups on boiled/drained/rinsed groundbeef or chicken and rice and carrots for 3 days then start adding new kibble a bit at a time till all kibble!

Works for me no runs or problems. Again this has worked for my pups I'm not saying it will work for all, just thought I would share.

You could probably substitute chicken.
