ETA: Also wanted to give a tip of having a medicine dropper or syringe handy..some chicken broth..and some pedialyte. You may not need any of it, but for the first day, Mandie wouldn't eat or drink so I had to hand feed her the kibble with chicken broth drizzled on it..worked like a charm! Oh, and used the dropper for water. By the second day, she didn't need my help anymore.
I LOL'd when I read that - she is a little brute and very thick (comes from good stock I suppose - ) Actually I was talking to hubby about this the other day - how much more thicker she is than Jack - I mean her bones seem more dense and her muscles are thicker. Anyway...

Thank you so much for the tips! I will go out and get a onsie, chicken broth and pedialyte and dropper tomorrow so I am ready when she comes home. The vet said they would keep her overnight, so I will pick her up Tuesday morning.
