I loved your story. In my mind I was thinking thank goodness someone else other than me is dealing with a critter!! Between me and Yorkietalkjilly we have had our share of critters! Lol.
I'm not sure how to get rid of them but I know they carry yucky stuff. Sorry, I know this sounds heartless but set a trap and kill the nasty things!
I had one in my classroom and was quite thrilled to find it dead in the trap. I am a huge animal love but there are certain critters that I just don't want around!
