My little one's color on her head broke through early and she is really very light on top, almost white. She still has the dark blue saddle in all the right places but her gold seems to have more of a two-tone look ~ gold & platinum blonde. Her coat is also very soft and always has been. I would have to say that there too she seems to have a blend of a silky/cottony coat. She is registered AKC blue & gold, but I would imagine she is showing some of the qualities of a parti carrier based on her coloring and texture.
