Buy skinless chicken breast- Cut into 1/4" piece (thin cut on sale can't be beat though)- Place in dehydrator- When the dogs start crying in the kitchen the treats are done (about 3-4 hours). I keep the homemade jerky in the fridge when done to make sure mold does not develop- Not that it last that long
This is what I do too But I keep mine in for 12-24 hours so it's completely dehydrated w/o any chance of mold. I give them as gifts and I have yet to meet a pup or kitty that doesn't like it!
