Hello fellow Yorkie parents!

We recently adopted a 6 month old Yorkie from a family who couldn't take care of a rambunctious puppy.

We've named him Pepper and he's been with us for the past few weeks, stealing our hearts. The Arctic cold isn't really meant for a Yorkie so we have ordered him a lot of sweaters and parkas and booties to brave the cold - but for now he is a strictly indoor dog (who uses his pee pad 90% of the of time, yay)!

Since we are new to Yorkies (my husband grew up with Labs, and I only had cats), we hope this forum will be somewhere we can learn a lot and make some online friends for Pepper (since I don't think there's another Yorkie in our small hamlet of 1,800 and he may get lonely!)
