How big is he and how old? Getting older and bigger the less you have to worry. I always made sure mine ate every few hours if they were small and or real young. Also, have nutrical on hand in case you notice any symptoms of hypoglycemia. Sometime just playing really hard can make their blood sugar go low so make sure he gets plenty of rest between playing and that he eats something. If Dexter hasn't been checked by you vet I would do that. It is also important that you know the symptoms of hypoglycemia and you know where the nearest ER vet is. I have had several puppies go hypoglycemic, but as I knew what was happening I was able to get their sugar up either with nutrical, pancake syrup or Karo syrup. I gave it to them and then headed to the vet. Hopefully Dexter will be just fine but it's good you're aware of it. Dexter is a cutie.
