Most people are allergic to the dander- Not the actual hair/fur. Is he still just as allergic if puppy has just been washed and dried?
How allergic is allergic? Can't breath vs. itchy eyes?
I know a guy at the dog park who is severely allergic to dog so his parents would not let him have one but as an adult he own 2- 1 golden and 1 lab mix. He wears gloves always at the parks and his dogs get bathed a least once per week. No carpets or drapes. Vacuum wearing a mask and does so daily. Dogs can't got him is bedroom. He says he grooms them at least 2 times a day- Wearing gloves and a mask- Then must immediately change his clothes and shower. He also takes daily meds, carries an Epi-pen and get allergy shots. He wants dogs so he endures a ton of personal discomfort so that he can have them. |
