Our 2 year old shih tzu has juvenile cataracts. He has to go for surgery at the end of this month. I also thought it was the lighting when I saw his eye. The vet says it's fairly common. He says it's a pretty easy surgery if he's a good candidate but it's very expensive. He told me that the surgery would run about $2900 at least but I have to do it. I don't him to be blind.
