Lil sis is right...they can be very messy and the juice stains big time. I actually got a pomgranite seeder at walmart for a buck or two but its not necessary. How I cut them is I cut the knob on the end off and then cut the fruit in half. I score about 5-6 lines on the edge of each half. Flip the edge over into a bowl and hit first the center and then the sides hard with a heavy spoon...usually that seeds it pretty good!
