My little guy uses the pee pads and outside. I put his pad in our bathroom. I think if you leave it in one spot its better, they know where it is all the time. Make sure to praise, praise, praise him !! He is contained to my bedroom and bathroom during the day while I am gone, and whem I get home he pees outside, but I still leave a pad out incase we get busy. I use the washable hosptal pads they use in the hospital, they abosrb really well and last a long time. Also, they don't stain, I wash them with bleach.
