Keep up the good work!
That's the same carrier that I have for Blazer and I trained him the same as you are doing. I started letting him play in it and have treats and I would lock him in it for a few minutes at a time during the day. When he was quiet I would let him out and praise him like crazy. Every day we went longer and longer. Every night he sleeps in his crate with no complaints. Blazer is 8 months old now and I'm starting to trust him more outside of the crate when we are gone so he doesn't spend extended time in his crate- other than for sleeping at night.
