Just so that everyone knows, you are in good company in your policy of rehoming some of your females. Even YorkieRose finds homes for her retired females so do not let these other members make you feel guilty for doing what you feel is best for all concerned.

I am sorry Kim but I can't stand using the word "retired" in accordance with female yorkies. It's as if it's their JOB to produce puppies. When they're finished with their "JOB" they are "retired stock" to be put into a rescue or find a different home. It is very stressful for an older dog to go into a new home. They don't forget their old life and everything they knew. They're not like puppies or young dogs that bounce back. I don't think this is best for the dogs concerned or does these little dogs justice. But all of this is just my opinoin.
