My husband is allergic to cats. Years ago, a stray cat chose us to live with. My husband said no and it was him or the cat. 17 years later after she passed away and over 10 years of allergy shots for my husband later, I was told not to get another cat... I won't, but SHE picked us... What could I do? Anyway, I guess the point I was trying to make is hopefully, your BF might go to the allergist. My husband said it definitely helped him, even with other cats, but mostly the one in our family. He still has benefits from those shots over 12 years later. |
