Max is like Tuffy and shakes. He fluffs up his lion's mane after I have worked so hard to comb it down.

Great advice about brushing and combing. I remember watching my father brush Max's hair for the first time. He started at the top line and pulled really hard. Poor Max dutifully stood still for grandpa. Obviously dad had never had long hair and had no idea how to brush it.
