Hi and welcome to YT. Don't stress too hard. Buster had LP surgery a few years ago. he was uncomfortable for a few days after and had constipation from the anesthesia but was all ready weigh bearing on the one leg the day after surgery. The most important thing is to keep them quiet. No running jumping etc!!! He was crated unless he was being closely watched and when he was a bit better he could hang out in his xpen but I kept the area small so he did not have too much room to get into trouble. Buster felt like he was good to go much sooner than he was supposed to so it was tough keeping him quiet but you have too in order to heal. Buster was a grade 3/4. Best wishes for a successful surgery and a smooth and quick recovery. Buster had to be quiet for 8 weeks after surgery
