I actually like that sock idea. I was going to suggest a premie size onsie like Deb did.

I don't like the idea of a cone of any type if it can be helped. One reason I like my vet office because they agree with this. I know some situations call for it no matter what, but they really are bothersome to the animal.

I had to put a cone on Shelby when he got fixed and he would just stand there with his head hanging down, walk into walls, and just could NOT get to his food bowl properly.
