[QUOTE=gracielove;4121372]Are you sure your boyfriend is allergic to the dog? Yorkies usually are not big allergy causers and yours is very young. Did he have allergy testing? You must have gotten your puppy at a young age if he is only 11 weeks now. Young puppies do need something to keep them warm. Usually they are still cuddling with their mom and litter mates at that age. That is why he is better with you holding him.

Maybe if it actually IS the baby your bf is having an allergic reaction to, which is NOT a common event with Yorkies, perhaps some medication for bf will help with his allergy?

The baby is still very young and wants him littermates and his mommie, with whom he would be snuggling with if he was still with them. So, now YOU are mommie....he wants to snuggle with you! The warm heart beat snuggle toy may work...I put one of those rice things that you heat in the microwave and wrap around your neck for sore neck....I heat it, cover it with a flannel pj top of mine, curve it around in a U shape, and the babies will all snuggle right up in there (this is the babies that I have had to hand rear and they sleep in an incubator)....Good luck with this quandry....Rather than leave that baby alone, in another room, I would medicate bf if it was me!!!!!!!
