I use washable potty pads. I got a huge supply absolutely FREE from a local company that supplies bed pads to hospitals. When they pick them up for cleaning, they steam clean/sanitize them and when they are sorted, any that are not made by their company are thrown in the "give away" bin. I wound up with bunches and bunches of almost brand new pads - enough to last me, my family and friends at least two lifetimes
