Also please avoid all foods from Naturapet, http://www.naturapet.com/. This company has been acquired by Proctor and Gamble so the formula is changing. Although they (Innova/EVO) were once top rated dog foods, now they are a strict NO NO.
I am not sure why breeder put the pup on IAMS, but there are lot of better/best foods other than those listed above. Some of them are - Fromm (one of my personal favorites), Orijen, Acana, Canine Caviar, Earthborn hollistic, Firstmate etc.
If you search YT about food you will find all kinds of opinions. But make sure that food you choose agrees with your baby. Most of the better brands of foods will have higher protein content. If your baby is in perfect health, then high protein content will not cause any problem.
I personally chose Canine Caviar and Earthborn hollistic for our new pup. He is a Biewer. But after reading all the great reviews on Canine Caviar (YT has lots of information on Canine Caviar), I opted it.
If you are in US, then there would not be any problem in getting Canine Caviar. Please refer to their website on the locations (physical and online) http://mycaninecaviar.com/locator/
All the best in your quest
I would recommend to switch your baby slowly to new and better food. Do not switch immediately, since it would affect his/her tummy.
