I also use a kid's playpen for Mocha. Actually, his breeder included a playpen when I got him. He is used to sleeping in it at night and when I am away. He feels very safe in it. I never used one designed for the dog so can't tell you if this one is good. However, if it is similar in size with a kid's playpen, should be good.
