I also agree with the OP - talk to the person who will be grooming your pup. I have been taking Jack to the same place for 2 years now and he had always been groomed by one specific groomer. She knew exactly what I wanted because she and I discussed it. This past time I took him in, the owner actually groomed him and ended up taking way too much off his ears (I tend to keep that hair longer too) and I was not happy - even though it is written on his card not to cut the hair on his ears. |
I like to keep Henri in a puppy cut too, he has the hair type to do the long traditional yorkie hair but it would be too much work considering that he
loves to get messy
I will definitely talk to the grooming to make sure she knows exactly what I want, thanks to the info on this site about how to find a groomer I think I found a good one
