Katie is home! Thank you all so much for the prayers and please keep them up!
She seems so happy to be home! I have her set up in my bedroom so I can keep a close eye on her. She's been walking around some and purring. Syringe feeding her through her feeding tube and keeping all her medicines on schedule seems a little daunting, but the vet tech reassured me it should all become routine quickly. We go for a check up in a week and will recheck her blood work at that time. Even if all goes well, we may have to leave the feeding tube in for as long as six weeks. It will take some time, but she should fully recover.
