IMO, she got the cough from aspiration since her brother is fine. I, personallly, wouldn't ask the breeder to cover the cost, but I also won't take back clothes that didn't fit when I bought them...lol. As for diarrhea in a new pup, you should read some of GuinnessStout's posts about her new pup, Stella...
