My Zada has a collapsed trachea and is on an inhaler and tranquilizers. When she first started with breathing problems, she would make a "honking" sound once in awhile, mainly when she was excited and needed to get a lot more air in. Now she almost continually wheezes like someone with asthma.
My Azrael snores, but doesn't have a trachea problem.
I would consult a Vet. who specialized in internal medicine. We went thru. a gamut of Vet. visits and medications before finally taking her to a specialist. Hope you do find out for sure what the problem is and get a handle on it right away. |
