It's easy to get a referral if they are saying you need one. Do what you need to do because Auburn is one of the best in the country. Get your vet to refer you. He/she should have no problem doing this. And, if it is just a neurologist that needs the referral..go on your own to Auburn and see a general vet and have HIM/HER refer you.
It's well worth the effort to get the referral how ever you need to. Auburn vet school is awesome..even to Bama fans
