When I brought home my second dog, he was 8 months, but still very much an annoying puppy to his older brother. Following advice from fellow YT members, I let them go at it unless it seemed dangerous. Then I would raise my voice with a big, "Nooooo!"

I also gave gentler direction with, "Play nice" and "no bite."

Make sure Guinness has his own place to escape Stella when he wants. For my older boy, Max, his escape was the couch, which Teddy wasn't big enough to jump onto.

We have met a lot of little puppies who always want to swat at my boys' faces and jump on their heads. My guys will lean in and give the little one a growl. This usually freaks out the puppies' people, but it is a natural correction.
