My husband said that AVG is not that great here is a link that tells you the removal rate

the number one av program is Kaspersky removing 99.46% of viruses tested in this study

Spysweeper and CCleaner are good for removing temp files and spyware.
Norton rated at 85% removal rate but takes a lot more system resources to run. If you don't want to pay for an antivirus program my husband suggests AntiVir Personal, which is a free program, just google it.
