Hey Alisha-
My Ruby did that to Rosie also...and sometimes still does. I've for the most part not intervened as I have kinda gone with the idea as long as the older dog is healthy and well balanced who better to teach Ruby what is acceptable and what isn't, then another dog. SOMETIMES Ruby just wont quit and I can tell Rosie is extremely annoyed...that's when I intervene and redirect both of their attentions to something else...ie I might start throwing a toy for Ruby to fetch while giving lovings to Rosie. I don't know if that's right or wrong but for the most part Ruby loves to play a little rough n turf but in a gentle way with rosie and listens when rosie says enough so I figure it can't be too wrong. Plus Ruby is a sweetheart when playing w people...ie no hard biting but will play tug a war etc...actually she doesn't play bite at all anymore with people the more I think about it
