Well, Purina is crap. She needs to get a new vet, too, cuz that's just ridiculous. Your cousin needs to get better educated about food & nutrition. Until she does, nothing will change. It's like people who blindly follow a lousy doctor's directions because they don't know better & the doc is an authority figure. She needs to be a better advocate for her dog.
