 Bailey Button
It was just under two weeks ago when I read a story about a huge rescue effort in Salem, Oregon. There were 149 dogs rescued, 110 of them by the Oregon Humane Society, and that put them well over capacity. As a result, they offered adoption fees of $50 for all current dogs over a year old for the next few days. I looked at the dogs they listed online, saw a few that might be a good fit, then headed over with the family.
And that's where we met Bailey. She's 12 years old and an absolute dream. It's hard to remember not having her in our lives and we are all better for her being here.
