When Jilly could only eat one type food in the world and everything else sent her to the vet, I had to resort to "resizing" the kibble, as way back then, they didn't make her food in the size her little muzzle could accommodate easily. She was born a runt and stayed tiny all her life. I put some kibble in a plastic bag and would hit the bag a few times with a rubber mallet to break it up without powdering it. She loved the smaller size and could eat that more easily.
