Toby has slept in his crate beside the bed since day 1 with us (3 months old) was tough at first since the breader let him sleep in their beds... But once we got through the first few weeks of whining and getting up to pee. He's been good. He will settle down with us in bed until we decide to turn off the lights. Then he gets put in his crate by my side of the bed and will now sleep though the night unless he isn't feeling well. Other than the occasional whimper he's is good and will settle quickly if my hand is on the crate for a few minutes. I'm an active sleeper so my DH is scared I will squish Toby
it's all personal preference and what works for you and your fur baby! I get the best of both worlds I think. Snuggles with my fur baby and the no worries of turning him into a pancake!
