 Not sure if its blood
Stewie threw up right after morning meal (6am), I found little specks of bright red substance throughout his vomit. I'm not sure whether it's blood or something he ate yesterday while we were out on our walk (I don't remember seeing anything red, but I remember seeing him chew on something, and I immediately took it out of his mouth... it was a little bone he picked up from the ground next to the garbage bin. Couldn't have been in his mouth for more than 3 seconds). He's acting normal, not lethargic. But his stomach is growling. I'm planning on withholding food for a few hours to give his stomach time to calm down, then feed him little bit this afternoon. Don't know if I should take him to vet. Any advice? |
