I microchip my babies ....I do it myself before they leave for their new home, and I pay for and send the paperwork in so I am certain it is done and not "forgotten" or "lost" in all the excitement of getting a new baby! I HATE NEEDLES, and when I first started doing this service, I almost died when I saw that needle....I had my vet do the microchipping for me. Not once did these pups ever even whimper! The needle used to implant the chip is sooooooooo sharp, it just glides into the skin and the babies do not even feel it! Most breeders do this for their owners.
