I think you should bathe them as soon as they get smelly and prefferably before. These are not regular dogs

Many sleep in our beds and go everywhere. I for one am not carrying around a smelly dog because it hasn't been a week yet. Use a good shampoo/conditioner and don't put a lot of goop in their hair. In-between baths maybe use baby wipes. Alter this depending on your dogs reaction. Adding salmon oil to their food will care for the hair inside out not just topical.
