No way would I put mineral oil in my pup's eye! Is it sterile? Is the applicator/dropper sterile? How do you plan to keep them so? Seems like an eye infection waiting to happen! As a 30+ year contact lense wearer myself, I know the importance of using extreme caution about what you put in your eyes.
With any advice/opinions about what to do with your pup, must have products to use on them, best food to feed, etc., you need to make sure you don't take a few opinions as gospel. Do your own research and most important of all...ask your vet!
