Default Cancer surrounds me

I can not believe how many people in my life have either died or have serious cancer
It started with my Cousin Robert he died at 40 with brain cancer, I only had two cousins so now I just have one.
Then my Best friend's husband died of the same brain cancer at 60
GF from our boat club died at 40 from jaw cancer
Friend from the gym died of pancreatic cancer 58
DH's close friend died of Leukemia 40's
In the last week, two close friend in their early 50's just went into hospice care 1 with bile duct cancer and the other with leukemia
My sisters husband at 53 has rectal cancer
SIL had thyrohyoid cancer (DH's sister) 40's
Two other gf's also had tyroid cancer 40's
GF had breast cancer 40's
Next door neighbor just had masectomy 50's
And the sad part is I know I am missing some people

This bothers me, I think about it a lot. My friends that are in hospice now were both extremely athletic. they snow skied. water skied, ran, rode bikes, and ate very healthy. One lives on my lake the other the next lake over, we socialize or used to with them a lot. I used to think when you get old it's natural to start loosing friends but everyone I mentioned was under 60 and most in their 40's or early 50's. I assume I am not the only one that knows so many people with cancer but it is sad and scary to wonder who will be next
