ZoE is 2yrs old now, so I rarely use gates. I do have one handy though for those times when I'm working on a home improvement or craft project and have stuff laying out & then need to run to the store for something.
If I were to buy a new gate today, I would definately get a step through design. I'm getting to old to be climbing baby gates!
