We are lucky our groomer retired vet tech and her bff also a vet tech do private dog sitting.
This sounds awful but I'd trust another like minded YTer over most of my own family members...maybe you can make a connection with a YT member in your area.

Unfortunately, the closest YTers are about 5 hours from me.... I wish I could sneak him aboard! Lol
