I agree nothing substitutes for professional medical care. Actually you may save dollars by heading to the vet. I am thankful that both my dogs are pretty healthy. I try to feed them a decent food , give them their monthly meds and take them to the vet for their annual checkups. Oh yeah I try to watch their weight as well. Preventive medicine is a good way to afford a lot of vet bills.
