I haven't been keeping it real. When I do GEs I always lose track of how much I spend. Even when handcrafted it still adds up and I'm too lazy to do the math. Like another member mentioned here, if I focus on the costs or how much I'll be receiving it sort of ruins it for me.

I admit, I enjoy going over the top and seeing my buddy's reaction more than what I'll be getting. That's the satisfaction I get from GEs and because of this I have to keep it real by limiting my participation. If everyone kept to a reasonable min. and max. amount, I'm sure I'll be signing Tessa up 3-4 times a year. I did so many last year for both my girls that they still have stuff that haven't been used and I do not re-gift because they are items that in time will be used eventually. So for this year I'm only going to stick with 1 no more than 2 GEs for Tessa. Needless to say we plan on making it awesome for our buddy!
