I never trim nose hair. I use Natural Tears and or eye wash for humans to clean the eye area, and a flea comb to get the nasties out. I also use antibiotic eye ointment for dogs occassionally. It will melt down into the hair a bit but will keep the hair out of her eyes till it gets some length on it.
