Mine is a Bissel with a stair/furniture cleaning attachment. I think I paid under $100 for it. The last one,same machine,lasted 11yrs being used ever 6 months with 6 kids and 6 dogs. I use ZEP,acquired from HomeDepot,spot treatment on the really tuff areas and then I use Bissel or Oxiclean for petodors.
When spot cleaning I spray the place with water and soak as much up as possible with papertowels,spray with a bottle of carpet cleaner mixed with water,I use an old towel and scrub the ,,,, out of it. There are 3male dogs and 13 yr old pom rescue that was never trained and doesnt get it,in my house. She will literally pee on my rug and prance around like she did a good thing. She is cute but not the britest crayon in the box. |
