So, the motto works......I just felt that a "...got your email...sorry, he's gone" reply was appropriate so I wouldn't sit and wonder if they took him off the list FOR ME or because he was unavailable or because I could see him Saturday anyway...whatever....especially since one of the people that works at that 'rescue' knows us personally.

The upside...as I see it...is, if this little one was 'not YOUR puppy' then 'YOUR PUPPY' is still waiting for you to find him/her!
