Jealous or just to smart for his own good? Ok either I have the most stubborn hard headed pup on the planet or I am a terrible fur mommy. Duncan has been sleeping all night every night until about 2 weeks ago. Suddenly he thinks 4:30 in the morning is time to get up. I have tried to take him out thinking he needs to pee then bring him back in and put him back in his house. he whines, and growls, and barks. I have tried to ignore him letting him know I am the one in charge here but he will not give in. Now let me say this, we have 2 other dogs that sleep in the bed with us. Cassidy who typically sleeps under the covers at the foot of the bed and Baxter who sleeps either on top of or under the covers between hubby and myself. The past few nights/mornings I have gotten Duncan out of his house and put him in bed with us but am afraid to go back to sleep for fear he will pee on the bed or get into something he shouldn't. This morning however he did go to sleep laying with Baxter between the hubby and I. What do you think defiant pup or jealous and wants to be with the rest of the family. I'm really getting frustrated with this and loosing sleep is not a good thing. |
