I ended up shaving down most of Blazer's ear hair- inside and out- to finally get them to "mostly" stand erect. I waited until he was 5 months to start doing it, though (I like the floppy ears so I wasn't going to push them to stand.) The hair on his ears is just SO heavy when it is long so, erect or floppy, he just looks nicer with his ears shaved shorter. I use DH's beard trimmer (shh, don't tell him!)
