My belief has always been to stop a dog if they hump a leg/person...but not to stop them if they have a toy they like to hump. My 2 males have a stuffed Lover Dog that they both have dates with. My female likes to hump her donut bed, lol - it's really kinda funny!

I think it's a natural urge and I think it's also somehow comforting to them (bc my males will often cuddle w/ their Lover Dog after a date ).

I read your link, and if you're plan is to try to stop the humping altogether, then I'd suggest you either get rid of that one toy altogether -or- at the very least, wash the hump-toy in the washing machine to get all smells off of it before giving it back.

Most importantly, WELCOME TO YT !
