A kiddie pool lined with an old comforter and towels would work for a whelping box. Now is a bit early to introduce one but I, personally, would be gathering my supplies and have everything ready for when the time comes. In the meantime, do everything you can to research what will happen, what could happen, what shouldn't happen, etc. YouTube always has videos that you can watch, too.
